Back to the Routine!

Greetings families and friends!
It’s time to get back into the groove of things as the
winter break ends. I hope everybody had an amazing past two weeks and lots of
time spent with your family. The winter
break always comes at such a great time for the children who are starting to
feel overwhelmed by school.
We started the break with a lot of snow that lasted for a
couple of days before school ended. As a child, I always
enjoyed the snowfall and never minded the cold that came with it. Hopefully
everybody stayed safe out there with the slippery road conditions, as it was
rather chaotic on the roads. Although the snow lasted only a couple days in
Richmond, we still had decent weather considering the predictable rainy Lower
Mainland weather. Remember to keep your children and yourself bundled up as
this cold weather stays with us for the next couple of months.
We tried to help the young minds active by having some games
during our in days. We had several games including Jeopardy during our
Christmas Eve In day. The questions we used were winter themed, which included
animals and Christmas.
The first week back to school is always a little tough for
the children to get used to. It will not be long until everybody gets back into
the groove of things. It is always nice to take a break but do not forget to
work just as hard as you play.
I hope everybody enjoyed the holidays and had a great New
Year!
Best wishes,
Sonny
